Brave Mind was founded by Dr. Damon Watkins, Jr. in 2023 to make products that inspire happiness. We create safe, effective, and affordable products that nurture the mind and promote well-being. Our hope is to create a world where people feel independent, capable, and connected. Brave Mind’s first product, Brave Blanket, is the solution to children’s fear of the dark. According to studies, 3 in 4 children will suffer from extreme fear of the dark. With Brave Blanket, children can safely cover their head and feel a sense of comfort and security while sleeping. The patent-pending mesh design allows body heat regulation and constant airflow for safety and breathing.

Brave Blanket is our first product, our cool, quirky, lovable baby. We've nurtured it and it's now ready to go out into the world, help others, and be successful. But, we'll always be there for it. Alright, alright. Enough gushing. About Brave Blanket:

To create a blanket that lets children safely cover their head at bedtime and feel a sense of comfort and security. Empower children to overcome their fear of the dark and get a good night’s sleep.

OUR IMPACT
For every Brave Blanket sold, we donate one Blanket.
We believe a business should not only benefit its shareholders but should benefit its community, so we adopted a social mission. Lack of sleep often acts as a barrier to success for already disadvantaged children, so we partnered with not-for-profits across the United States to give no-cost Brave Blankets to underserved children and help them get a good night's sleep. We also want to address some of the root issues that prevent children from sleeping, so we will donate $1 from every sale to charities that help house, feed, and clothe children. This ties into the heart of our mission because children struggle to sleep when they feel unsafe or uncomfortable. We will help provide a safe environment and a comfy Brave Blanket to children in need.
We hope to donate 1 million Blankets by 2030!
GIVING PARTNERS

Together, we provide no-cost Brave Blankets to homeless, low-income, and other underserved youth. We also provide partners with donations to house, clothe, and feed youth to empower children from every background to experience the physical and emotional benefits of quality sleep.
